Year round I try to stay within 5-10 pounds of competition weight. This is okay for me as I compete with other natural competitors and having a massive amount of size is not as great of an issue as is muscle development and maturity. However, for me size is very important so I try to keep my weight as heavy as I can to challenge my muscles and stay within the 12-15 repetitions, depending on the muscle group I am working. My repetitions
may go slightly higher instead of lower.

My workout schedule varies as well, as I routinely work 12 hour days 3-4 days a week and usually do not go to the gym on those days unless I am preparing for a competition. My workout days are very flexible.

In essence, I weight train four to five days a week in these groups:

Day one:
Legs (glutes/quads, etc.), abs

Day two: Chest, arms, calves

Day three: Legs (hamstrings, etc.), abs

Day four: Shoulders, back, abs

I love cardio workouts, and for me and bodybuilding, I use cardio
in moderation.
